We know it's freezing outside but February is coming up and this month of love is about to get you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. 🚨However🚨, this is not the time to let your social platforms cool down. All Month. 🖤 Black History Month (US) #BlackHistoryMonth

It began as a way of remembering important people and events in the history of the African diaspora. It is celebrated in February in the United States and October in the UK.


People are looking to engage actively, whether it be by supporting Black-owned businesses and causes, donating to anti-racist charities, participating in online events, attending Black History Month celebrations, or engaging and highlighting people with their own online community.


TikTok did a campaign “Celebrating the breadth, depth and beauty of Blackness past, present and future… [and] all the people who #MakeBlackHistory each and every day.”

LGBT History Month is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements.

Chinese New Year marks the first day of the year on the Lunar calendar. This Chinese New Year of The Tiger, people born in the year of the tiger are thought to be competitive, self-confident, and brave.

2. 🦫 Groundhog Day #GroundhogDay

Celebrated in the US and Canada, Groundhog Day comes from a superstition that says if a groundhog comes out of his burrow on February 2 and sees his shadow on the ground, it means six more weeks of winter. But if it's overcast and there's no shadow, it means spring will start soon.


Who remembers the film groundhog day? Maybe get filming a groundhog day inspired tiktok/ reel to post on the day! Think about your customers if their life like groundhog day? Always remember to be creative on how your product or brand could be involved.

5. 🏉 Six Nations Rugby Starts #SixNations2022

The Six Nations Championship is an annual international men's rugby union competition between the teams of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. The current champions are Wales, who won the 2021 tournament.


Using the hashtags will enable you to join in the conversation on social media as well as allowing people to find and contact you, thus building your audience.

The BRIT Awards are the British Phonographic Industry's annual popular music awards.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America and IMG have released the official schedule for New York Fashion Week’s fall 2022 season.


NYFW will see mainstays of American fashion like Tom Ford, Tory Burch, Coach, Proenza Schouler, Michael Kors, and Anna Sui return alongside some designers who’ve sat out of late like Area and Dion Lee, and a host of new names to know. Get a conversation flowing with your audience! Post polls, ask questions - whos collection is the best, best look, fashion faux pas... you get the picture!

13. 💖 Galentine's Day #GalentinesDay

Galentine's Day began as a joke on the television series Parks and Recreation, a day for celebrating women in advance of Valentine's Day, Amy Poehler’s character Leslie Knope explains: "Every February 13, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It's like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas."


The occasion has become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon, with Moonpig selling Galentine's Day cards and data from Pinterest revealing that searches for 'Galentine's Day Ideas' have seen a whopping 1780 per cent year-on-year increase. Our favourite day of the month!

Romans celebrated St. Valentine's Day thousands of years ago, and today it is celebrated around the world to express love and romance.


Valentine's Day falls on a Monday this year possibly one of the least romantic days of the week... nevertheless you can make an association to Valentine's Day with many products and services including flowers, chocolates, cards so come on share the love this month


E-commerce platform Etsy supported their seller community this Valentine’s Day by offering a ready-made graphic for social media posts to promote their Valentine’s Day products on the various social networks. Together with the holiday hashtag #MakeItMeaningful, sellers can draw attention to their Etsy store and drive more Valentine’s Day traffic.

15. ❤️‍🩹 Singles Awareness Day #SinglesAwarenessDay

We should celebrate Singles Awareness Day to remind ourselves that there is nothing wrong with being single. In fact, the day after Valentine's Day demonstrates all the positive aspects of being single in our society.


Bud Light decided to tap recording artist Charli XCX for a video that promotes its “Single Greatest House Party,” an event for single people only. It’s promoting the party on social through the promoted hashtag #SinglesAwarenessDay, deliberately seeking out those who are untethered for Valentine’s Day.

And what better way to celebrate your singlehood than by mocking modern dating trends?

17. 🎁 Random Acts of Kindness Day #RandomActsOfKindnessDay

It was created to cultivate kindness and brighten people's lives through Random Acts of Kindness Day. Small acts of kindness make a huge difference. A small act of kindness may not seem to accomplish much, but, just like the domino effect, it can turn into even more positive outcomes. On this day, be generous with compliments and compassion.


The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation has some amazing resources for kindness in the workplace and they even have downloadable calendars giving you daily ideas to inspire your audience each day.

20. 🐕 National Love Your Pet Day #LoveYourPetDay

Give your pets some extra love and attention during this day! And don't forget to show a little extra love to your favourite Pet-fluencers! *woof*


Encouraging your followers to share pictures of their lovely pets is great for increasing engagement and creating user generated content - which you can re-use at a later date 😉


21. 🇺🇸 Presidents' Day (Third Monday in February) #PresidentsDay

The US introduced Presidents' Day on George Washington's birthday to celebrate two founding fathers of the country – Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Nowadays, the day notes the lives and accomplishments of all US presidents.

In the campaign below, Google opts for a series of time-limited promotions across popular products. The email design is super on brand but integrates the classic red, white and blue colour scheme in the background for a patriotic feel.


22. 🍸 National Margarita Day #MargaritaDay

National Margarita Day brings us together as we celebrate our favourite cocktail. Originally created in 1938 in Mexico, a margarita consists of triple sec, tequila, and lime juice. It is considered the beverage of having fun by many people.


Cointreau celebrates National Margarita Day with doorstep cocktail service! Can we replace our ice-cream van with this?

22 - 28. Milan Fashion Week #MilanFashionWeek2022 (DC)

Milan Fashion Week is a clothing trade show held semi-annually in Milan, Italy!


We think this is the perfect time for Italian inspired brands to show the world what their mamas gave them! When you think of Italian you think of quality - food, clothes, wine, holidays, people etc. Ask your audience what their favourite thing is about Italy!
