November 2025 Trends in Social Media
Stay on top of social media trends in November 2025 with Truffle's top intel.
Everyone's talking about: Media we're consuming
While short-form content platforms such as TikTok and Reels are very good at hooking and retaining attention, this makes the continuous loop of scrolling hard to stop. So, users are combatting this by providing their recommendations on how you can intentionally consume content.
We suggest that for brands who are struggling to get their TikTok and Reels audiences to convert to customers, this trend might be the right one to jump on.
By showing awareness of your audiences needs and wants, brands can use this trend to widen their reach and promote how audiences can interact with them in other places (YouTube, Substack) as well as providing recommendations that are relevant to their audiences, showing a relatability.
TikTok Trend: Group 7
TikTok’s latest viral moment, Group 7, originated with musician @sophiajamesmusic who posted 7 videos of her new song ‘So Unfair’, with each video given its own unique number. Group 7 soon became considered the “coolest” group.
This quickly became a fun way for the community of TikTok to engage with one another, and connect with different brands and creators.
We think it's a really quick and effective trend for brands to jump on by making it relevant for their product and insinuating that if you were to spot their video too, you were also in the trendy Group 7.
Instagram Trend: Restyle edits are thriving
Instagram has introduced another AI video editing tool in the Edits app called Restyle, where you’ll now be able to quickly and easily edit your short-form videos using a variety of preset AI prompts that can transform your outfit, location, style and more.
Truffle is constantly debating whether AI has a place on social media - and the inclusion of more tools makes this even harder.
We know that audiences crave transparency from their favourite creators, so it can be argued that this takes away from brand trust. On the other hand, it can be helpful to brands to elevate their content, if they don’t have large budgets or access to higher quality tools.
Jury is still out on this one... stay tuned.
Trending editing style: The cut out
Content creators and brands are making editing look easy, with the simple cut out style helping to bringing their brand to life and show off their creativity.
This can be done for all kinds of accounts, and with the support of editing tools such as Canva and CapCut, it allows all kinds of creators to elevate their look and feel on socials.
