About the role
A good understanding of optimising content and rising to reactive opportunities is a must; and social storytelling must be second-nature. The right candidate will understand how to make use of all of the key features across the main channels and how to repurpose across platforms, whilst appealing to each channel’s audiences and browser habits.
Your primary objective will be to deliver effective, fully integrated campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Facebook and Threads. Our client portfolio is diverse and this variety fuels our inspiration. Sectors include: FMCG, Fashion & Beauty, Property & Interiors, Health & Wellbeing, Travel & Hospitality, among others.
You will build upon the strength of our existing relationships and realise our position as a social partner to our clients, delivering forward-thinking, imaginative content and innovative strategies. You must have a finger on the pulse culturally and be confident in presenting recommendations that go beyond the expectations of traditional agencies. This is a role that will be suited to someone who knows how to speak to brands, is passionate about the work that we do at Truffle and can clearly articulate our unique strategic creative offering. Ambition is also essential.
We’re really looking for someone who has a tonne of creative spark, imagination, attention to detail and understanding of nuance. This person will be able to come up with social-first concepts for a broad range of brands, whether they’re for reactive content, storyboards for video campaigns, long-form LinkedIn articles or short-form captions, or creative briefs for influencer content; and from there you will be required to work closely with our designers and content creators to turn these concepts into high quality assets.

Responsibilities
- Deliver campaigns across all social channels: Instagram (full suite), Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube
- Optimising content per platform - a solid understanding of audience behaviours and platform functionality is important
- Produce high quality evergreen content and contribute to brainstorms for creative campaigns and new social assets
- Manage designers to design and repurpose content
- Work closely with our clients to integrate campaigns with broader marketing plans; understand business challenges and identify suitable services to address the clients’ needs, solidifying our role as their go-to social partner when navigating the digital landscape
- Drive innovation and fresh thinking across campaigns and when supporting on creating new agency processes - be the first to provide solutions
- Ensure the most effective use of resources at all times - we work on an ‘earned autonomy’ basis
- Support across project management for content production and campaigns, working to set budgets and timelines
- Contribute towards building a strong team that collaborates effectively with other internal departments, sharing knowledge, processes, client vision and KPIs
- Keep an ear to the ground within the market, disseminating relevant information to the team and applying knowledge proactively
- Contribute to an environment that promotes outstanding client service and positive morale - our culture is super important to us!
- Support across influencer campaigns including reporting
- Support in developing new social strategies with a specific focus on developing unique content pillars and visual formats
- Produce longform and short form copy across multiple platforms, showing a good understanding for tone of voice, nuance and brand guidelines
Experience
- Proven track record of campaign management and a strong portfolio of examples of content that you have ideated and managed through to production and posting
- An understanding of repurposing content and cross-platform integration
- History of working specifically in social media, successfully managing projects, growing relationships with SMEs and international clients, and working with cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Proven track record of demonstrating empathetic client skills
- Demonstrated experience and skills in areas such as advertising, creative production and copywriting
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Good technical understanding of social/video editing across Instagram Reels and TikTok - rhythm is key!
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media, digital and current communications and content marketing trends
- Proven experience accurately reporting and analysing numbers and metrics
- Proficient in social measurement and listening tools (ex. Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sysomos, native platform business/ad managers, etc.)
- Paid social experience is not essential for this role but considered a bonus
- Influencer campaign experience is ideal
- Experience developing strategic recommendations/proposals for social media and digital activations and KPIs to effectively measure success
- Result and solution-oriented with a strategic mindset, good logical thinking
- Strong execution and good capacity for pressure, and a good sense of communication and co-working
