Responsibilties of the role

Campaign Support 

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of social media campaigns across your assigned accounts, ensuring content aligns with brand strategy and campaign objectives.
  • Support withcontent planning and scheduling, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand strategy.
  • Work closely with Account Assistants to ensure calendars are maintained and deadlines are met.
  • Support reporting efforts by gathering data and insights to help optimise content performance. Coordinate influencer and paid social campaigns, including briefing talent, managing timelines and ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and proactively recommend reactive content opportunities for client accounts.

Content Creation

  • You will support your team with calendar planning, which will work 3–4 weeks in advance, and be required to act on feedback to make amendments with a quick turnaround.
  • You will also be responsible for asset design using Canva and/or Photoshop to create a range of content, use basic level video editing software, and complete copy-writing responsibilities with the capacity to maintain different TOV’s and cater to different platform audiences.
  • Work collaboratively with the team on your account, delegating appropriate tasks where needed to Account Assistants, Interns and freelancers.

Reporting, Analysing and Optimisation

  • Keep informed about social media algorithms and best practices to help improve engagement and reach.
  • Monitor your client analytics and produce regular performance reports, identifying trends, insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct regular content checks and proactively identify opportunities to optimise content performance and improve engagement.
  • Contribute key insights and recommendations to your team that shape future content strategies for the client.

Client and Team Communication

  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with your line manager on progress, responsibilities, and deadlines.
  • Act as a key day-to-day contact for clients, responding to queries, providing updates and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Help maintain strong relationships with clients through timely email correspondence and participation in calls.
  • Prepare materials for client meetings and contribute to presenting campaign updates and performance insights when your team needs support.

Maintaining Budgets, Deliverables and Timelines

  • Support seniors on your team with tracking project deliverables and timelines across your accounts, ensuring campaigns are delivered on schedule.
  • Flag potential issues or delays to senior team members and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Assist with the administrative aspects of outsourcing creative work where necessary.
  • Work with senior team members to ensure campaign budgets are managed effectively and deliverables are achieved within scope.

Required Skills and Experience 

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally working with consumer brands in an agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Meta (FB & IG), LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Familiarity with social scheduling tools.
  • Proven ability to use social analytics to make data-driven recommendations on content and strategy.
  • Ability to create content, including shooting photos and video on an iPhone. Basic working knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro for assisting with content creation.
  • Passion for social media and a proactive approach to staying ahead of trends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with internal teams and clients.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A self-starter with a positive, "can-do" attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
